Constant Research effort

Reproductive Medicine and Reproductive Biology are new rising branches. The research in the field has been extremely active during the last 25 years and research in this discipline is still vast.

At UMR-CHUV, the research orientation is first of all clinical. Resulting from a joint effort between the biologists and the medical doctors, our research area has developed mainly into domains of quantification, mostly the analysis of our treatment results.

Finally, the UMR also participates in innovation of new diagnostic- and therapeutic approaches.  This enhances the integration of AMH dosage for improved evaluation of the “ovarian age” and the use of inhibitors, such as during ovarian stimulation for FIV and for the treatment of severe endometrioses.

Certain techniques currently offered at UMR are the result of fundamental research processes.
