Lecture programme

There will be an intensive daily lecture program in English with national and international experts in all subspecialties of stroke. The lectures will be sent to the participants in pdf format after the end of the summer school. Lecturers are generally available for discussions during breaks, lunch and dinner.

In addition to the traditional conference format, more interactive seminars are planned in the following format :

• Daily « Hands on seminars » : Before the Summer School, each participant is assigned a topic on which he/she should present 5 slides in 5 minutes on his/her stroke unit’s/hospital’s current policy/practice. For each daily 45 min. session, 3 topics are chosen. They are presented by the chosen participant (5 min.), a comment is made by the invited speaker (5 min.), then a short review of current recommendations (EUSI and AHA/ASA) is made.
• Daily « Case presentations », usually by one of the invited speakers.
