People involved in this project
Prof. François Bochud (PhD) is the director of the institute of radiation physics in CHUV in Lausanne. He is a senior medical physicist, an expert in radiation protection and a member of the Swiss Federal Commission for radioprotection.
Prof. Francis Brunelle (MD, PhD) is the director and chairman of the radiology department in the "Necker and Sick Children's Hospital" in Paris. He is a member of the INSERM research unit # 1000, chief of the program: "normal and pathologic brain development in children". The pediatric radiology unit is involved in all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, CT and MRI included.
Prof. François Gudinchet (MD) is a senior radiologist specialized in pediatric radiology and has been involved in the working group dealing with radiation protection for the pediatric population within the framework of the ESPR (European Society of Paediatric Radiology) since 1995.
MSc. Frédéric Miéville received his MS degrees in Physics from the EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland) in 2008. He is currently pursuing his PhD in medical physics in the medical imaging group at the CHUV where he investigates and assesses new methods to improve CT scanner protocols for patients, especially for children and young adults.
Dr. Phalla Ou (MD) is a cardiologist working in the radiology department at the "Necker and Sick Children's Hospital" in Paris.
Dr. Elena Rizzo (MD) is an expert cardiac radiologist who completed her radiology training during one year in Paris in the Department of Cardiovascular Radiology (Prof E. Mousseaux) of the George Pompidou Hospital, with a specialization in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, MRI and CT.
Dr. Francis R. Verdun (PhD) is a senior medical physicist in charge of the medical imaging group at the IRA. He is an expert in the physics of medical imaging and has been active in the field of objective assessment of image quality for more than 17 years.
