Behavioral & Psychophysics, Neuropsychological Assessment and Rehabilitation

Behavioral and psychophysical research provides a window on the functionality of the brain. Neuropsychological evaluations permit us to identify specific functional impairments and target mechanisms for their rehabilitation. In addition, research on such clinical populations provides us with invaluable insights regarding the representation and relative dissociation of sensory, perceptual, and cognitive functions within the intact brain.

Major research themes include:

  • Aphasia
  • Neglect, extinction
  • Auditory agnosia and motion deafness
