Pharmacokinetic-dynamic and population modeling

Our research on "PK-PD modeling" consists in:

• detailed description and analysis of the effects of drugs tested, with regards to the time and to their concentrations in the body;
• identification of sources of variability of these effects;
• development of strategies for the individualization of dosage based on the measurement of plasma -or even intracellular- levels.

The therapeutic areas we are interested in mainly encompass:

• HIV protease inhibitors;
• anticancer drugs;
• angiotensin II receptor antagonists;
• antibiotics.
