Description :

The Center of Study of Behavior (CEC) is a unit belonging to the Center of Psychiatric Neurosciences (CNP). It includes accommodation for rodents (about 350 rats and 1200 mice) and a series of laboratories to perform tests of behavior on mice and rats.

Services :

The CEC provides a technical platform of investigation of animal behavior to the researchers of the CNP and offers her scientific and technical expertise to the researchers of the Lemanic circle who would like to complement their experimental research by an analysis of animal behavior.

In summary, the CEC has the following vocation :

• to attract researchers in the context of research and theoretical and practical education on the fields of memory, learning, motivation, emotion, executive behaviors, etc.
• to establish collaborations with clinicians to direct and improve the application of basic research
• to establish an acknowledged training center in behavioral studies to instruct students and researchers in behavioral experimentation
