My research focuses on the evaluation of novel biomarkers to vizualize subpobulations of cancer associated stromal cells occuring in the tumor microenvironment. For that, I am utilising solid phase peptide synthesis to build up the imaging probes by a well-established small peptide based radiotracer design (see scheme) and elucidate their preclinical perfomance in view of binding affinity, pharmacokinetic property or imaging capacity.
