To improve loco-regional control, the following properties of head and neck cancer are explored in our laboratory:

1) Invasive and metastasizing properties of tumor cells
2) Immune surveillance
3) Molecular determinants of HPV-induced oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma
4) Tumor heterogeneity and field cancerization.
