The clinical activity is mostly centered on vaccinology, autoimmunity, allergy and primary and secondary immunodeficiencies. In addition, collaborative programmes with the Services of Infectious Diseases, Gastroenterology and Transplantation have been established for HIV, HCV and solid organ transplantation.

The research activity is focused on antiviral immunity, tolerance in allergy and transplantation, mucosal immunity, T cell activation and signal transduction and vaccine.
