10h00-18h00 : ESSENTIALS OF CABGs
DAY TWO
8h30-17h30 : SKIN-TO-SKIN PROCEDURE
This course aims to provide excellent insights on the coronary artery anatomy and surgical strategies on coronary revasularizations. With the help of members of the surgical community participants will learn how to overcome the difficulties of this surgical procedure on life-like models specifically developed for this course, participants will go trough a step by step learning process on the surgical technics to successfully perform a skin-to-skin procedure in a one-to-one relationship with the assigned tutor. The high experienced tutors will assist participants in improving their technical skills and will share their knowledge and experience with them. At the end of the course, participants will receive a detailed feedback on the performance based on the OSATS criteria and hopefully a certification for having successfully completed the course.

Organized by the swiss society for cardiac and vascular thoracic surgery (SGHC/SSCC) in collaboration with the CHUV and Lausanne university school of medicine (UNIL).
Price
SGHC/SSCC covers the fees for swiss residents in cardiac surgery, fees include didactic material, refreshments lunch. Hotel accomodation is not included (200.- CHF)
