Background

Sonia Crottaz-Herbette holds a PhD in Cognitive Sciences from the University of Paris 6 and in Psychology from the University of Geneva. Her research focuses on the neural and behavioral mechanisms involved in the rehabilitation of cognitive functions of brain-injured patients. She employs functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), experimental and clinical psychology, psychophysics, and virtual reality techniques.  She joined the Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation Service at CHUV in 2010. Since 2021, she is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lausanne, Faculty of Biology and Medicine, and has obtained a Privat Docent. She supervises Master's and Doctoral theses in the field of Neurosciences.
