Exploring how to improve mental and metabolic health in women with gestational diabetes mellitus, their partners and infants through interventional studies focusing on lifestyle behaviors and by studying the effect of mental health and dietary behaviors in this population.

Biography
Dr Leah Gilbert conducted a thesis in Life Sciences at the Woman-Mother-Child Department at the Lausanne University Hospital. During this thesis, Dr Gilbert coordinated the MySweetheart trial, taught specialized nurse practitioners and master students in advanced studies, coached patients on their lifestyle behavior (diet and physical activity), became an active member of « Society of Reproductive and Infant Psychology (SRIP) » and won the third jury prize in the prestigious competition « Ma these en 180 secondes ». Dr Gilbert also (co-)authored 12 scientific articles.
