Background

Stéphanie Konik is a PhD student in MySpace lab headed by Prof. Andrea Serino, at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), Switzerland, affiliated to the University of Lausanne (UNIL), Switzerland. She started her PhD in October 2018, working on characterizing body representations after stroke, and investigating the potential to modulate them. Her work is co-supervised by Michela Bassolino, Professor at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis Institute of Health, Sion, Switzerland.Stéphanie holds a MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Luminy, University of Aix-Marseille, France. Before joining MySpace Lab, she worked as clinical project manager at the Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience (LNCO) of Prof. Olaf Blanke at EPFL (2017-2018) and as research engineer at the Laboratory of Robotic Systems (LSRO) of Prof. Hannes Bleuler at EPFL (2016-2017). Prior to this, she gained several years of experience in clinical research working as clinical project manager in the industry, in Switzerland.
