IMMUcan is a European consortium which focuses on uncovering the role of the tumor microenvironment (TME) in tumor progression by leveraging multi-omics data.
As part of the effort, bulk and spatial omics data have been generated for over 1800 patient samples spanning five common cancer types.
Our group provides its expertise in data integration and pan-cancer analysis. Among the projects, we are interested in identifying shared spatial patterns of the TME across different cancer types. To this end, we apply novel spatial omics methods to the spatial proteomics data generated by the consortium. Additionally, we actively collaborate with other groups for the multi-omics data integration across cancer types.
