About us

Many pregnant and breastfeeding women need medication therapy. STIS provides a teratology information service for all healthcare professionals in Switzerland and collects relevant exposure data.

We also offer:

• Clinical pharmacology teaching.
• Epidemiological research on the safety of use of specific drugs during pregnancy, in collaboration with the European network  ENTIS (European Network of Teratogen Information Services).

STIS activities are supported financially by the CHUV on a public health mandate and by the STIS Foundation.
