Gottardo Group

Université de Lausanne

Our group is led by Prof. Raphael Gottardo, Director of the Center, Full Professor in the Faculty of Biology and Medicine at the University of Lausanne, and Adjunct Professor at EPFL. The group focuses on the development and application of statistical and computational methods, in particular probabilistic and Bayesian approaches, to address major biological questions.

The group concentrates on the generation and analysis of data from recent technologies, including single-cell and spatial transcriptomics and proteomics, as well as their integration with clinical data. We adopt an end-to-end approach, from data generation to biological interpretation, to develop methods that are closely aligned with biological questions and maximize their impact.

The group’s activities span several key areas, including immunology, cancer immunotherapy, vaccinology, immune responses to infectious diseases, and dermatology.
