HIV-related discrimination in Switzerland

Caroline Suter is assistant director in charge of legal affairs at the Swiss Aids Association. In her presentation she considers the cases of HIV-related discrimination with which she deals in her daily work-life. Unfair dismissal, abuses of medical confidentiality, and refusals to cover loss of earnings and medical costs by insurance companies are just some of the legal situations faced by people living with HIV in Switzerland today.
