Background

Patricia completed a master's degree in cognitive psychology at the University of Geneva. Having a strong interest in neuropsychology, she first gained experience in assessment through research that focused on structural and functional connectivity in patients assigned to institutional measures. She then joined the HUG memory center to carry out research focusing on the link between the intestinal microbiota and cognitive functions in people with Alzheimer's disease. Curious to expand her skills and better discover the counterpart of neurorehabilitation, she joined the Lavigny research team on October 1st as a neuropsychologist in clinical research. She follows the patients that participate at the Mindfocus reseach, what concerns the training of attentional difficulties through virtual reality in brain-damaged patients.
