The NCCR microbiota

The National Center for Competences in Research (NCCR) on microbiomes is a large Swiss project that includes 5 workpackages:

• Human microbiota
• Animal microbiota
• Soil and water microbiota
• Plant microbiota
• Data analysis

Prof Greub and Prof Vonaesch (both from UNIL, Lausanne) are leading the human microbiota work pacakage (WP1), that have 5 main area of researh:

• gut-brain axis
• gut microbiome and infections
• gut microbiome and nutrition
• gut dysbiosis and eubiosis
• gut microbiome and phages
