Vaud-Valais Network

Thanks to the network set up between the CHUV and the Valais Hospital, Valais patients can take part of their medically assisted procreation treatment at the Sion Fertility Unit and then go to the CHUV for the final stages.

Dr. Gazdaru is the link between the two institutions. Head Clinician in Fertility Medicine at the CHUV, the specialist is also responsible for the Fertility Unit of the Valais Hospital.

Couples with medically assisted procreation treatment can be cared for at both sites. For in vitro fertilization (IVF), a patient is followed in Sion, then goes to Lausanne only to perform the collection and transfer of embryo.

This two-step support is possible thanks to the network collaboration of several specialists, of which Dr. Gazdaru is at the center.
