Scientific communication

Do not just do research, make sure it gets published and read.
Proposed by The CHUV Education Center (CEFOR) in collaboration with the Medical Direction, this intensive, hands-on course is designed for medical researchers who want to improve their scientific communication.
Bring your ongoing manuscript and transform it into a readable and clear article, then learn how to pitch your findings with a high-impact oral presentation. By enhancing the clarity, accessibility and dissemination of research findings, participants contribute to accelerating the translation of evidence into clinical practice, ultimately benefiting patient care and health outcomes.

This program uses a highly interactive, evidence-based approach combining peer review and personalized feedback :
Module 1: The Writing Workshops (3 x 3h30 in a group): Interactive sessions focusing on your actual drafts. Includes peer-to-peer commenting and expert guidance.
Module 2: The Presentation Symposium (1x 3h30 in a group): A dedicated day when each participant delivers a 5-minute talk, receiving constructive evaluations from peers and the instructor.
Module 3: Personalized Coaching (30 min individual session - Optional): A-1-on-1 mentoring session to address your specific writing or presentation challenges. This session is optional and can be scheduled based on individual needs.

A ''Reader-friendly Scientific Articles'' booklet will be provided to each participant.
