Research Interests

Dr. Musat is an academic endocrinologist with an interest in pituitary, thyroid disorders and human reproduction. She works as a clinical endocrinologist and also is also involved collaborative projects on the genetics of pituitary tumors. Her expertise is multidisciplinary, spanning the fields of clinical endocrinology, human genetics and molecular biology. Her research projects include: 1) cell cycle dysregulation in pituitary tumors, and 2) genetics of familial isolated pituitary tumors. Dr. Musat's research has been published in leading scientific journals and book chapters.

Clinical Expertise

Her clinical practice covers the spectrum of pituitary, thyroid, adrenal and reproductive endocrinology, including polycystic ovarian syndrome, infertility, and menopause. She also has extensive experience in the treatment of osteoporosis.
