Biography
Between 1995-2000 Prof. Puder trained in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetology and metabolism at Columbia University Medical Center in New York before returning to the University Hospital of Liestal (2000-2001), Basel (2001-2006) and then to the CHUV where she works as a deputy physician (“médecin adjoint”).
Her interests are diabetes, therapeutic education and pregnancy. She is a member of the board of the Swiss Society of Endocrinology and Diabetes, DIAfit and several other associations. She is also active in humanitarian aid in the field of diabetes. She has received several grants from the Swiss National Science Foundation and is the author of more than 140 scientific articles and co-author of several books.
