Background

Loredana Catinari holds a master’s degree in Neuroscience and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation at the University of Bologna. Her postgraduate internship focused on the assessment and rehabilitation of cognitive deficits in patients with acquired brain injury. Since 2022 she is a PhD Student in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Bologna. Her domain of research includes the application and validation of new Virtual Reality-Based cognitive rehabilitation trainings along with the study of eye-tracker and psychophysiological parameters as biomarker of cognitive function disorders and recovery. 

As part of a collaboration with the University of Bologna, she joined the CHUV in 2023 as a research collaborator in projects aimed at virtual reality rehabilitation trainings of attentional disorders in patients with acquired brain injury.
