Background

David Zeugin holds a master’s degree in behavior, evolution and conservation and a PhD in Neuroscience from the Université of Lausanne (UNIL). His research interests focused on exploring the interplay between the primary visual cortex and motor cortex excitability, as well as examining the impact of identity when performing mental rotation of faces. To this aim, he employed various techniques, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation, electromyographic signal processing, eye-tracking, and visual phenomenon assessment. He joined the CHUV in 2022 as a data scientist and specialized in statistical analysis, as well as in behavioral, gaze and motion analysis of VR rehabilitation game and machine learning.
