The Lab is specialized in studying gene expression from skin in inflammatory nerve or degenerative disorders, in quantifying skin denervation by histology and studying axon reflex reaction.

The other activities include assessment of nerve-muscle disorders by clinical neurophysiology (large and small nerve fibers), muscle whole body MRI studies, and clinometric measures of muscle function.
